ABOUT US
John Shannon Montessori was founded in the spirit of love and service to God and to the people of the community. It was founded on the belief that man is essentially composed of matter and spirit.
As such he is endowed with physical, intellectual and spiritual faculties that should be harmoniously developed to their maximum potentials.
This harmonious development is the person’s inherent responsibility, the fulfillment of which will not only enable the person to be of service to himself and to others, but will help him attain his ultimate goal:
A STATE OF SELF FULFILLMENT IN THE SHARING OF THE DIVINE LIFE WHICH GOD HIMSELF ENJOYS. It was founded on the Christian Philosophy that “TRUE EDUCATION AIMS AT THE FORMATION OF THE HUMAN PERSON WITH RESPECT TO HIS ULTIMATE GOAL AND SIMULTANEOUSLY WITH RESPECT TO THE GOOD OF THOSE SOCIETIES OF WHICH AS A MAN, HE IS A MEMBER AND IN WHOSE RESPONSIBILITIES AS AN ADULT, HE WILL SHARE” – (VATICAN II)
